Jim Wilson is the founding partner of Wilson & Partners LLP. His practice encompasses all areas of federal taxation with a special emphasis on corporate reorganizations, mergers and acquisitions and financial products and structures. Elizabeth Johnson joined Wilson & Partners LLP as a partner in March 2003. Her practice covers a broad range of corporate tax matters, with an emphasis on mergers and acquisitions, capital markets transactions and corporate reorganizations. She has advised on numerous significant financings and other transactions for both public and private company clients.

David joined Wilson & Partners LLP as a partner in March, 2005. Prior to joining Wilson and Partners, David was a partner in a major national law firm. He maintains a general corporate tax practice with an emphasis on mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations, structured finance and derivatives, investment funds, income funds and REITs.

Jillian Welch joined Wilson & Partners LLP in February 2006. She provides advice to clients on a broad range of tax matters and has particular expertise in the taxation of insurance corporations and insurance products. Jillian has advised insurance clients on mergers and acquisitions.

John Saunders joined Wilson & Partners on January 1, 2009. John has experience in corporate taxation matters, estate planning, dispute resolution with the Canada Revenue Agency and tax litigation. He has negotiated significant reassessment concessions with CRA.

Steven Baum is a partner in the Toronto office of Wilson & Partners LLP, a law firm affiliated with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, and a partner in PwC’s Financial Services tax practice. He provides a broad range of income tax advice to clients.

Brent obtained his LL.B from the University of British Columbia in 1996 and was called to the Ontario Bar in 1998. Brent is a partner in Wilson & Partners LLP – an independent tax law firm affiliated with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP.

Nathalie Goyette is Wilson & Partners LLP's resident partner in Montreal. Nathalie has more than 20 years of experience in managing and resolving audit and appeal disputes involving the provincial and federal tax authorities.

Gwendolyn Watson is an associate in the Toronto office of Wilson & Partners LLP, a law firm affiliated with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. She provides income tax advice to clients.

Geneviève Lille joined Wilson & Partners in April 2004. Geneviève provides advice to clients on a broad range of tax matters, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations, and financial products and structures. Geneviève has acted for clients in the investment management.

Judith Gorman joined Wilson & Partners LLP as an associate in 2008. She has a general tax law practice including income tax planning. She also regularly assists clients in their dealing with the federal and provincial tax authorities.

Jeff joined Wilson & Partners LLP in December 2010, after working in the PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP tax practice from September of 2008. He maintains a general corporate tax practice with an emphasis on foreign affiliate and international taxation.
